It covers roughly 16 blocks- an area that lies southwest of Whitehead Street and northeast of Truman Annex. The streets that border Bahama Village are Whitehead, Southard, Fort, and Louisa.
Bahama Village is so named for its many original residents who were of Bahamian ancestry. It is still home to many residents as well as some of the best restaurants and shopping in Key West.
